International Collaboration Strengthens as I.C.T Hosts Training for Indian Partner’s SMT Engineer

Dongguan, China – In a significant step towards fostering deeper collaboration with our Indian partners, I.C.T (International Collaboration Technologies) initiated a comprehensive training program in late December 2023. The focus of this collaboration is to enhance expertise in equipment technology and promote knowledge exchange.

At the end of December, SMT engineer Virendra from our Indian partner arrived at our facilities for an intensive two-week training program. Given the diverse range and numerous models of equipment at I.C.T, a tailored training approach was adopted to ensure Virendra gained a thorough understanding of our machinery.

Seven overseas engineers from I.C.T, each specializing in specific equipment, conducted targeted training sessions for Virendra. The training covered a spectrum of equipment, including SMT printer, reflow soldering oven, wave soldering machine, NG/OK unloader, laser marking machines, coating machines, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), and X-ray machines.

The training content encompassed hands-on operation, equipment features, common issues, and their resolution strategies. Virendra diligently documented these details in his notebook, ensuring a comprehensive record of the training sessions.

Recognizing the importance of personalized training, each I.C.T engineer shared insights and expertise in one or two specific equipment types, ensuring a targeted and effective training process.

Beyond the technical training, cultural exchange played a significant role during Virendra’s visit. Joint meals provided an opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures, and visits to local renowned eateries and the bustling Guomao shopping district in Dongguan offered a glimpse into the vibrant local lifestyle.
